This page lists every cookie and browser storage entry our site can set, explains exactly what each one does and how long it lasts, and shows you how to change your mind at any point. We keep the list deliberately short — there is no advertising network behind this website.

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. On each subsequent request the browser sends it back, which lets the site recognise a returning browser and remember simple choices. Related technologies — local storage and session storage — keep data in the browser without sending it to a server at all.
Cookies are commonly grouped as:
- Session items, deleted when you close the browser, versus persistent items that survive until they expire or are cleared.
- First-party items set by the site you are visiting, versus third-party items set by another domain.
- Strictly necessary items the site cannot function without, versus optional items that require your consent.
The short version for this site
We store one small entry to remember your cookie choice. If — and only if — you accept optional cookies, we add anonymised analytics so we can see which guides are read. That is the whole picture. No advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no cross-site tracking, and nothing sold to anyone.
2. How consent works here
On your first visit a notice appears at the bottom of the screen with two clear options: Accept all or Essential only. Both buttons are equally prominent, and neither is pre-selected.
- Non-essential items are set only after you choose “Accept all”. Nothing optional is placed before you decide.
- Choosing “Essential only” gives you the complete site. No page, guide, table or feature is withheld.
- Ignoring the notice is treated as a refusal. We do not interpret continued scrolling or browsing as consent.
- Your choice is remembered so we do not interrupt you again on every page.
3. Strictly necessary items
These are required for the site to work and to honour the preference you expressed. Under the ePrivacy Regulations they do not require consent, but we list them anyway.

Neither item contains your name, your email address or anything that identifies you personally. Both are set by our own domain and are never shared.
4. Analytics items (optional)
These are placed only if you select “Accept all”. They tell us which guides people find useful, where visitors arrive from and which pages fail to load — the information we use to decide what to write and fix next.

Analytics is configured to reduce identifiability as far as the tooling allows: IP addresses are truncated before storage, location is resolved no more precisely than county or city, and reports are viewed in aggregate. We never connect analytics data to a message you send us through the contact form.
5. What we do not use
To be explicit, this website does not use:
- advertising or ad-network cookies of any kind;
- retargeting or remarketing pixels;
- social media tracking pixels or embedded like buttons that phone home;
- cross-site or cross-device behavioural tracking;
- fingerprinting techniques designed to identify you without storage;
- data brokers, audience marketplaces or any arrangement that involves selling personal data;
- heatmap or session-recording tools that replay your mouse movements and keystrokes.
6. Third-party cookies
Our pages contain no third-party embeds — no video players, no font services, no script libraries loaded from another domain. All styling, JavaScript and images are served from our own domain, which is why the third-party list on this page is empty.
What you should know is what happens when you leave. Following a link to a gambling operator, a regulator or a support organisation takes you to a site with its own cookie practices, which may be considerably more extensive than ours and over which we have no control. Each destination will present its own cookie notice. We recommend reviewing it, and reading the operator’s privacy policy, before you register anywhere.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
Independently of our notice, your browser gives you complete control. You can block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, delete existing cookies, or set the browser to clear everything each time it closes.

Blocking everything will not break this site — the only consequence is that we will ask about your cookie preference again on each visit, because the entry recording your answer is itself stored in the browser.
8. Withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, at no cost and without giving a reason:
- Open your browser’s privacy or site-data settings using the table above.
- Find top10irelandcasinos.com in the list of stored sites.
- Clear its cookies and local storage.
- Reload any page on this site. Our notice will reappear and you can choose differently.
Withdrawal takes effect immediately for anything set from that point forward. It does not undo measurement already collected lawfully while consent was in place, though you can ask us to delete data relating to you — see your GDPR rights.
9. Do Not Track and global privacy signals
There is still no agreed cross-industry standard for how sites must respond to the browser “Do Not Track” header, so many publishers ignore it. We take a simpler line: our optional analytics run only on explicit consent, which means a visitor who has never accepted is not measured regardless of what any header says. If a binding standard is adopted, we will honour it and update this section.
10. Legal basis and your rights
Our use of cookies is governed by the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011, which implement the ePrivacy Directive in Ireland, together with the GDPR where cookie data constitutes personal data.
- Strictly necessary items rely on the exemption for storage that is essential to provide the service you requested.
- All optional items rely on your consent, freely given, specific, informed and withdrawable.
Where cookie data amounts to personal data you can exercise the full range of GDPR rights over it — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Our Privacy Policy explains how, and how to complain to the Data Protection Commission if you are unhappy with our response.
11. Changes to this policy
If we add, remove or change a cookie, we update the tables above and the version and date at the top of this page. Where a change introduces a new category of non-essential storage, we will ask for your consent again rather than relying on a decision you made about a different set of cookies.
